Another Countdown Reference And Some Random Email

Don't pay any attention to the countdown, but DO pay attention to this:

TWO
days of work left

and

TWO
evenings of trying to walk out the door at five thereby fetching the children from daycare before the $1/second overtime rule starts to apply, but instead - due to circumstances WAY beyond my control - actually walking out the door at 5:15, thereby having to pay an extra mortgage daycare payment, getting home at ten to six, rushing the kids through their dinner so they can get to bed on time and make up some of the time lost when daycare FORGOT TO LET THEM NAP, and dragging my sorry self to the computer to write something I hope to be clever and funny but is instead half-baked and kind of sad before I collapse on the couch with Mr and eat two glasses of ice before waddling up to bed and hoping to sleep

but only

ONE
morning of mittens, misery, woe, etc.

You know what I will truly miss? This:

Nope. you can also bring in my milk whenever that guy decided to actually go...

...if you want to.

But if you want me to fade away to nothing in here, just let it get warm on some counter while I'm in this conference call.

I WILL DEFINITELY DELIVER YOUR MILK TO YOU AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES MAKING SURE THAT IT STAYS AT A REASONABLE TEMPERATURE. NOT TO BRAG, BUT I DO HAVE A FOOD SAFETY COURSE AND A FOOD HANDLING COURSE ON MY PORTFOLIO SO NO WORRIES. I AM CAPABLE OF HANDLING THIS SITUATION WITH CARE AND CONSIDERATION.

IN OTHER WORDS: ALL OVER IT.

I'm very relieved. I was worried I'd get food poisoning, but now I don't have to.

I'm glad you have one less thing to worry about cause I know the constant worry of peeing your pants and when the next feeding is takes up a lot of thinking time.

Yes. We work. but we're probably laughing at the same time. Out loud. Loudly.
